Chrome is known to be fast and responsive browser and along with that, it is also known to suck up a lot of your machine’s RAM. In a hilarious, Jonathan Morrison saw Chromium in the execution of thousands of tablatures on your Mac Pro to eat up more than 1.2 tb of RAM.

Yesterday, Jonathan ed on Twitter google Chrome was using 75 GB of RAM on his Mac Pro, with about 2,000 tabs open. Two hours later, about 5,000 of Chrome browser tabs open google Chrome jumped to the aid of 170GB.

Jonathan has left the Mac Pro to do all that was doing for the evening and woke up today to find 6000 tabs open and Chrome hit a wild 857GB of RAM.

In the short video, Jonathan mentions how Chrome finally frozen and has also been oddly using a lot of processing power, as the way too much. But funny enough, other applications on his Mac Pro have always worked correctly.
