Apple officially announced the iPhone event of September this week and confirmed that it will be held at the Steve Jobs Theater on September 12th. The event will include a new product announcement based on the iPhone XS headline.

Finally this week, I was able to confirm the naming of the iPhone in 2018. With much speculation and back and forth, we reported that the iPhone is called iPhone XS – Pronunciation iPhone 10 S.
In addition, according to Bloomberg report, Apple is considering deleting "plus" tags from this year's iPhone XS. This means that Apple named iPad like iPad with iPhone XS and have two screen sizes with a single brand name.
Regarding the screen size, iPhone XS has two options, 5.8 inch and 6.5 inch, both of which use OLED display.
We currently do not expect to change the form factor of iPhone X of 143.6 mm x 70.9 mm x 7.7 mm. For display technology, it requires 458 pixels per inch 2435 x 1125 resolution.
According to the circuit diagram of the supply chain, the 6.5 inch iPhone XS is measured with a thickness of 157.53 mm × 77.44 mm × 7.85 mm. It has a 5.5 inch display, but it is smaller than the iPhone 8 Plus with a much bigger bezel.
According to Bloomberg report, in the 6.5-inch iPhone XS display, the device will have a resolution of 1242 x 2688 and the 458 PPI mark will determine the number of pixels per inch.
For larger displays, new software features are also supported. Current iOS 12 Beta version shows that iPhone XS 6.5 inch supports more iPad applications.
