Review: Leviton's USB-C & USB-A receptacle

Although the high-tech industry is still in the process of transitioning to USB-C, it can be easily handled with various charging bricks and adapters. Leviton 's Type A & Type C USB charger / receptacle drew our attention as a way to simplify digital life, so we modified handy wall outlets.

High-speed charging from USB-C to Lightning cable, a combination of USB-C compatible accessories, Apple's MacBook MacBook Pro and so on are possibilities for this year's iPhone to be equipped with a USB-C power adapter.

However, it is still useful to use the standard USB port. Leviton's Type A & Type C outlet has one each in addition to the two standard outlets.

Even if you do not do light electrical work yourself, you can easily install outlets with most applications. Brass screws are for hot wire (usually black), neutral (white wire) silver screws, green screws for ground (usually naked copper wire).

In my experience, it took about 10 minutes to remove the old socket and install type A and type C receptacles. Be sure to turn off the breaker of the circuit under operation before starting processing.
