Renderings created from claimed design leaks show a pair of iPad Pros 2020 with three rear cameras, just like the module seen on the iPhone 11 Pro.
They are from Steve H. McFly, a.k.a Onleaks, which correctly rendered the design of the iPhone 11 Pro in January of last year…
The photos and videos (below) of the renderings appear on iGeeksBlog.
OnLeaks, a popular leaker, reports that future iPad Pro 2020 models may have the same dimensions as those of 2018 models. However, OnLeaks has shared dimensions of 11 ″ iPad Pro only, which could display approximately 248 x 178, 6 x 5.9 mm (7.8 mm, including the bump in the rear camera).
Aside from the height and width, the thickness of future devices may be a little more important, as Apple plans to install triple camera lenses. Of course, you can compare the relief of the camera of future iPads with that of the iPhone 11 Pro and Pro Max.
McFly’s background means that the images should be taken seriously, although there is one surprising element: the renderings suggest different materials for the backs of the two models.
The 11-inch iPad Pro will have a metal back, just like today’s iPads, and the 12.9-inch iPad Pro will display a glass back panel as we find in the iPhone 11 Pro.
The site suggests that the new models will be released in the spring, which would be consistent with previous reports of new iPads alongside a long-standing replacement for the iPhone SE (which existing SE fans probably shouldn’t be excited about) .
