Readdle's wonderful productivity app records 100 million downloads

If you are using many productivity apps on iOS, one of them is created by Readdle. The Ukrainian company has built some of the biggest and best software for success, such as Spark, Scanner Pro, PDF Expert etc.

Readdle announced the first app in 2007, just a few months after the first iPhone was released. Since then, we have made 40 products and assembled 135 teams in 8 locations throughout the world.

This week, Readdle achieved a major milestone of 100 million downloads. Here is the way it happened.

Readdle was never a typical software startup. It was a small scale and no external funding was zero. Over the years, this has given up a lot of takeover proposals. Every success and all of its products are a direct result of revenue from users.

Readdle has failed 32 out of 40 products built over many years. Still, 11 years have passed since the first application was released, Readdle is flourishing. It has not yet accepted external investment, and its applications are more popular than ever.

So what makes Readdle so wonderful?

Road to 100 million downloads

When the co-founders of Readdle had the first iPhone, even before the App Store existed they saw an opportunity to make a special one. They started with an application that allows users to read books three years before Apple releases their own iBooks application.

Their mission was easy. People wanted to do more with mobile devices and hoped to improve productivity while on the move. Every product aims to solve one problem facing many users in a simple and easy-to-understand manner.

Let's meet the Readdle team.
