Qualcomm says that Apple has stolen business secrets and has given it to Intel

The ongoing legal battle of Apple and Qualcomm has just taken an interesting turn. Qualcomm now accuses Apple of stealing its trade-related trade secrets and giving information to Intel. Axios quotes from the legal application:

Although the discovery is underway, it is clear that Apple's behavior went far beyond simply violating the contract that was initially summoned. Indeed, it is now clear that Apple has been dealing with a long-standing set of false promises, stealth and excuses designed to steal Qualcomm's confidential information and trade secrets with the aim of improving the performance of lesser quality modem gamesets, with the ultimate goal eliminating the Qualcomm-based Apple company.

That's a pretty serious allegation, and one that could be a big headache for Apple if it turns out to be true. It is no secret that Apple was tired of relying solely on Qualcomm for iPhone modem chips and found it to be overpaid in patent royalties. Their business is scheduled for next spring, and it looks like it will be filled with drama.
