Together with iOS 12, Apple released OS 5 for Apple on Monday. The upgrade for the Apple operating system includes new training types, Walkie Talkie voice chat and more.
OS 5 adds new training types, such as walking, and you can now challenge friends in training goals of seven days. Now you can automatically suggest workout types based on your activity, and with retroactive credits give credits for the workouts you've forgotten to start and reminds you to end a training.

The Walkie Talk feature uses your Apple as a bidirectional voice communicator. You can use it for fast voice chats, but longer conversations are probably better in other chat apps or as phone calls.
OS 5 includes support for activating Siri shortcuts, introduced in iOS 12 on the iPhone, iPad and iPod touch. Shortcuts are automated tasks that you set for tasks that you perform routinely.
Apple has added Student ID support in the Wallet app, so now you can serve Apple as your ID. The function only works for participating schools. To date, a handful of universities have signed up.
OS 5 is a free download and is compatible with any Apple model except for Series 0. To install the update, first install iOS 12 on your iPhone. Then start the app on your iPhone, tap My gt; General gt; Software update.
