For London photographer Dimpy Bhalotia, the iPhone has become a central part of the production of fine art, including the image of this piece. The winner of the iPhone Photography Awards told Cult of Mac why.
Bhalotia, a full-time London-based street art photographer, told Cult of Mac that she loves photographing with an iPhone so much that it becomes second nature. “It’s a light slice of butter still in my hand, which holds the whole world in,” she says. “I feel like I’m shooting with my palm.” In 2020, you don’t need an expensive DSLR camera and a darkroom to produce breathtaking images. The iPhone has truly democratized photography and made it easier for anyone to capture the magic of everyday moments.
