Twitter should test the sending of prompts to users who may use “offensive or hurtful language” in their responses. Users will be informed if the language of their tweet is similar to that used in the messages that were reported when they clicked on “send”.
Twitter to entice potential rule breakers
The decision to send or not to invite will be based on current social network policies prohibiting insults, racist or sexist tropes and degrading content. Sunita Saligram, global responsible for Twitter’s trust and security policy, said Reuters:
