Justin Timberlake Movie ‘Palmer’ Coming to Apple TV+

Apple has added a Palmer, along with Justin Timberlake, to its collection of original films, she announced Wednesday. The film is directed by Fisher Stevens and written by Cheryl Guerriero. At the time of this writing, no release data had been confirmed.

Timberlake plays the old college football phenomenon Eddie Palmer, named after the film. After spending time in prison, the character returns to his hometown and aims to sort out his life. However, not only did conflicts from his past persist, he also found himself at the head of an abandoned young boy.

Juno Temple, Oscar candidate June Squibb, and Alisha Wainright also play at Palmer. It is a SK Global project, Rhea Films and Nadler No GMO Popcorn Co., in association with the Hercules Film Fund. Oscar winner Sidney Kimmel, John Penotti, Charlie Corwin, Daniel Nadler and Charles B. Wessler produced the film with Terry Dougas, Jean-Luc De Fanti, Mark O’Connor, Paris Kassidokostas-Latsis and Bruce Toll as executive producers.
