The 15 Apple Stores in Germany will reopen on May 11 after the forced closure of the coronavirus, reported 9to5 Mac. As in other places that have reopened, customers at points of sale will have to respect certain health and safety rules.
Germany has not mitigated coronavirus infections to the extent of other regions where Apple Stores have reopened, but the country has seen a steady decline in new daily cases for more than a month. The flattened curve was enough for Chancellor Angela Merkel to start easing the national foreclosure in Germany and allowing large retail stores to resume operations. Apple Stores in Germany will adhere to known health and safety precautions for the foreseeable future.
