There are a few benefits that you can enjoy if you are an Apple Card customer. One of the benefits is the Mastercard Identity Theft Protection which offers free monitoring of your personal informationon.
Mastercard identity theft protection
Although I receive an email from this service every month informing me of my risk status, Mastercard Identity Theft Protection is something I usually forget. But it came to my mind recently because of the email I received saying that my data was leaked through the Dave.com data breach. The informationon that was leaked included my name, address, email, and a phone number which luckily is no longer in use.
MasterCard allows you to add different types of informationon to monitor: phone numbers, social security numbers, driver’s license, car insurance cards, social media usernames / credentials, mother’s maiden name , addresses, credit / debit / prepaid cards, health / dental / vision cards, bank accounts, passports, loyalty / frequent flyer cards and small business areas. And this service is completely free if you have an Apple Card.
You can register using this link and I personally think every Apple Card customer should use it. Of course, you are transmitting sensitive informationon that could be disclosed in another data breach, so that choice is yours. I didn’t enter my social security number, but I do have it monitor emails, credit cards, addresses, and my phone number.
