Twitter now supports Google and Apple ID for login and registration

Twitter offers two more ways for users to access their accounts. Starting today, you can log in using your Google ID to use the service’s online client and mobile application. Meanwhile, on iOS, sign in using Apple now supports the Twitter app, and the company plans to add support for online access “soon.” Both services can also be used to establish a new Twitter account.

Apple introduced it at WWDC 2019 as an alternative to access services from Facebook and Google. The company claims Login with Apple prevents tracking, and allows you to store your email by creating secondary addresses and then sending any messages from apps and services to your regular inbox.

Either way, Twitter adding support for both Google and Apple ID should make life a little easier for new users. But we will note here one of the normal things about changing this feature is that Twitter offers its own login service that you can use to access certain websites. The Internet can be a wonderful place at times.
