With new features that require third-party development input, iOS 15 is coming later this year. The company is developing basic betas so that software engineers can have a head start on making big software.

What’s new in iOS 15.2?

Apple has released a third iOS 15.2 beta for developers. Those with registered development accounts can download and install the beta now via their Mac, and should be able to install the beta profile and install it as an on-air update directly on the iPhone recently.

How to download Image Restore iOS to your Mac The first part is as simple and working as it does on any Mac operating system.

Navigate to developer.apple.com on your Mac. Click on the Discover tab. Click on iOS at the top of the screen. Click Download in the top right corner. Sign in with your creditor account credentials when ready. Under iOS 15 beta, click on Download Restore Pictures. Click on the iOS Recovery Image for the device installing beta developer.

How to back up your iPhone archive

Before you begin, make sure you back up your iPhone. While the beta process is very straightforward, whenever you make any major changes to your device you run the risk of problems. And with personal data, it is always – always! – Better to be safe than sorry. Even if you back up every night, you will want to make sure it is completely updated.

Connect your device to your Mac using the included cable. Launch a Finder window. Select your connected device under Conditions on the side of the Finder window. Click Join to connect the device to your Mac. Click Trust on device to confirm you want to connect. Enter your passcode on your device. If you have not already backed up on your Mac, click Back Up Now to back up. Click Manage Backups after a recent backup. Right or Control click on backup your device. Click Archive. Click OK.
