According to the school, three Southern students were selected for Apple Technology and Innovation program. Victoria Rencher, Alex Spencer, and Sasha Taruberekera were selected Southern high school students. The three students were taken between 43 professors and 15 universities, according to Southern. Southern University and Georgetown University have joined their friends.
The nominees for the Apple program come from technology programs at HBCUs. According to South, students will receive a scholarship based on a $ 15,000 qualification and professional development.
