Other malware has been discovered targeting Apple Silicon Macs, but researchers have noted that a malicious payload is missing for the time being.

There appears to be more malware targeting Apple’s M1-based Macs than previously thought. Following the first reports of the first M1 malware found in the wild, there appear to be more malware infections, but of a particularly toothless variety.
