Snap, the parent company Snapchat, has launched a new app called Studio Studio. Stable video editing application is now available for iOS users, allowing iPhone developers to create vertical videos to distribute across multiple platforms. Layers and captions can be added to a video using Studio. In addition, edited videos can be exported directly to Snapchat for sharing as a History or on Spotlight. They can also be downloaded and distributed through other channels. Studio Studio is currently available in only a few areas.
Snap during its Snap Partnership Conference in May this year, unveiled Studio that will allow developers to write short videos of TikTok using a wide range of editing tools. Snap describes Story Studios as a fast and fun way for developers to produce more advanced, engaging vertical videos to share anywhere. The app is currently listed on Apple’s App Store.
The Studio Studio application comes with editing tools that can be used for regular frame-cutting. It allows you to add captions, stickers, and layers to the videos. Users can also select good music and audio clips for their videos from within the app. In addition, with the Studio Studio application, iPhone users can try the latest Snapchat lenses as well.
It will also allow you to incorporate visual effects using AR lenses that change faces, bodies, and all perspectives. As mentioned, with the application, the Snapchat Sounds library with a catalog of licensed songs and user audio will be available for all Snap users notes that one can work on multiple projects at once with sound elo Studio Studio. It has an automatic saving feature that lets users revisit and edit past projects. Once the editing is done, you can share it directly to Snapchat from within the Studio application. Even, videos can be recorded and sent on other recording platforms. Unlike TikTok, edited videos will not be a water mark.
Studio Studio is available as a free download for iOS users in selected areas now. The app requires an iPhone with A12 or later processor, and iOS v14.7 or newer. There is, however, no word on whether it will debut on Android.
Snap describes History Studios as “a fast and fun way for developers to make advanced, engaging videos to share on Snapchat”. Features include precise frame-cutting, splitting, and timing tools, the ability to add layers and captions, “Items from Snapchat”, and glossy conversions.
