Researchers from Johns Hopkins University have published a report highlighting all the encryption vulnerabilities of Android and iOS phones and how law enforcement can exploit them to access even locked smartphones. This research comes at a time when governments in various countries are lobbying for backdoors in encryption to access data on smartphones when national security is at stake.
