Purported 5.4-inch 'iPhone 12' display photos pop up on Chinese social media

A pair of images have appeared on Chinese social media, claiming they were pre-assembly parts for the smaller iPhone that would be part of the “iPhone 12” line.

The images, posted by “Seekdevice” on Weibo, represent a display assembly with the familiar notch, minus the TrueDepth camera and other sensors.

There is currently no way to verify the provenance of the photos given the redacted data, and it is possible that they are intended for an iPhone or other device with a notch.
