Pal-Mac swimmers take second consecutive FL League title

The guys from Palmira-Macedonia are not just champions, they are champions again.

The Red Raiders won 10 events en route to a 92-78 victory over Napoli on Thursday to clinch their second consecutive Finger Lakes League men’s swimming title.

Andon Fedor won the 200 throws (2: 03.15) and the 100 throws (53.98) for the Red Raiders (7-0) and Jackson Bay won the 100 flies (1: 01.03) and the 100 backs (1: 00.26).

Also for Pal-Mac, Wyatt Eagley won the free 50 (26.11), Jack Day won the 200 IM (2: 41.93) and Collin Smith won the free 500 (6: 07.34).

For Napoli (3-4), the team of Lawson Myers, Lily Pridmore, Owen Yates and Evan Waldeis won the relay of 200 free throws (2: 05.60) and Tyge Johnson, Yates, Drew Reigelsperger and Fisher Finnan won the relay of the 400 free (4: 22.33).

Midlakes 97, Marcus Whitman 62

Andrew Schoenfelder won the 200 IM (2: 19.53) and 100 fly (1: 03.20) for the Screaming Eagles (5-1) and Ethan Brodman won the 50 throws (25.70) and the 100 throws (56.36).
