Redshirt senior linebacker Jon-Michael Terry has committed to Tulsa, he announced via Twitter Wednesday.

Terry reportedly entered the NCAA transfer portal on January 2 after playing in 10 games and making 23 total tackles, 2.5 per loss and one layoff this season. Terry served primarily as red-jersey second-year backup Nik Bonitto to RUSH’s outside linebacker, although he made two starts in 2020.
In his OU career from 2016 to 2020, Terry amassed 51 total tackles, 5.5 per loss and 1.5 layoffs. Now he heads for a program in Tulsa that turned linebacker Zaven Collins into the winner of the Bronco Nagurski Trophy as the nation’s best defender in 2020.
