New on MacBook. Do I need the Pro if I’m planning to do light audio / video editing at some point or could I pursue a career involving design?

I’m at the Apple Store and really digging into the lightweight form factor and aesthetics of the Air. The Genius is telling me that the only big difference is the cooling fans, which in heavy video editing could slow down the rendering and take longer on the Air.

What’s the problem, for example, how often would I notice this when editing 3-5 minute or even 10-15 minute video clips? I’m not going to do this often, but I would love to have the ability for future use, especially if I find that I’m really passionate about video editing.

I just can’t understand how beautiful and light Air is. I will mainly use it for basic stuff, work, navigation etc. I’m doing …
