More Tesla Brainpower Poached by Apple

These days, Apple is interested in building cars even though the company’s main goal is to create as many different and difficult ways to charge an electronics as possible.

So far, he has not been very successful in retaining co-workers, but the coaching staff is afraid of the secret of the electronic giant. Many still do not think the company has what it takes to build cars, but recent discussions with the Toyota behemoth production could secure Apple a foot in the door, and now CJ Moore, an old engineer from Tesla has join your ranks to help on new car activities. Moore will work under Stuart Bowers, another Tesla employee who led the Tesla Autopilot team until 2019.

This is a bold move by Apple and explains its obvious reason for developing personal driving technology, but all talk about Apple vehicles is still under wraps. We may not know how far the Apple line can come with personal driving capabilities, but Moore has said that Tesla CEO Elon Musk has surpassed the true capabilities of Tesla personal driving technology. In an interview with employees of the California Department of Motor Vehicles, Moore said Musk’s dreams of launching full-fledged self-driving cars by the end of 2021 are unrealistic and that Musk’s details do not “match the technical reality”. One can not help but wonder what other old Tesla employees thought of the company’s rights.

Currently, vehicles such as the Tesla Model S and Model 3 run on a Level 2 automatic driving system that requires the driver to keep his hands on the steering wheel at all times. Musk has been threatening everyone with the Level 5 autonomous driver for a while now, but he is still far behind according to Moore. Apple has also been assisted by Urlich Kranz, former CEO of Canoo automotive company, and other pre-Tesla executives such as drivetrains director Michael Schwekutsch and interior designer Steve MacManus. With a team already in touch with Tesla employees, it will be interesting to see what progress Apple has made in its victory for independence.
