As mentioned, with the new update, bio people will appear at the bottom of their first photo, so that the user can decide whether it is more relevant soon. Bumble also gives users the option to collaborate by connecting to other social media platforms such as Instagram and Spotify accounts.
Bumble is said to be using machine learning technology for matchmaking algorithms to provide better rewards to users. The new algorithm on the altar will also recommend users to a photo that will bring more matches to their profiles.
Bumble said it is taking steps to ensure security on the application. It will discover content and behavior that goes against your Local Guidelines with the help of automation and AI-based technology. According to Bumble, these include offensive, hate speech, and other inappropriate content in more than 100 languages. Bumble says it has blocked more than 2.5 million accounts by 2021, and a significant portion of them have been automatically blocked.
In addition, the app announced that it will make its travel status free to all users worldwide for 24 hours starting December 3 at 12:00 pm (IST).
