Man Says 2 Teenagers Took iPhone Without Payment, Showed Gun During Scheduled Sale | Crime

A man said two teenagers stole an iPhone he was planning to sell and showed a gun during a scheduled Far West Side meeting Wednesday night, police said.

Officers responded to the reported armed robbery in Block 200 of S. High Point Road at around 7:15 pm, Madison Police Lieutenant Eugene Woehrle said. The 31-year-old said two teenagers took his iPhone X without payment, showed the gun, and fled in a green sedan parked nearby.

The man had arranged the meeting to sell the iPhone via Facebook Marketplace earlier in the day.

No injuries were reported.
