Mac Public House manager sues city for $ 2 million for arrests

STATEN ISLAND, NY – Daniel Presti, the Mac public house manager who was cleared of criminal charges after driving in a sheriff’s deputy while allegedly being chased, filed a $ 2 million complaint notice against the city for his arrest.

The Presti Depot is the last salvo in Presti and Grant City’s ongoing battle with the city.

Presti, 35, claims $ 1 million in compensatory damages and $ 1 million in punitive damages.

The notice was presented Wednesday to the city controller. It is the first step in initiating a lawsuit against the city and its agencies.
