Louisiana Parole Board votes to grant rapper McKinley “Mac” Phipps Clemency

Rapper McKinley Phipps Jr., who was jailed for 21 years and one day for a crime he claims he did not commit, may soon be pardoned following a unanimous vote by a Louisiana probation committee for his release. .
