It is possible that the front Apple watches will have a camera

The camera could be built into the upcoming Apple Watch. Apple has released a patent application titled “Look with a Camera” that outlines a few approaches the company plans to connect to a camera sensor on its smart watch. Apple seems to have surrendered to the idea of a camera module that was removed from the app, which it sued with the U.S. Patent and Trade Office (USPTO). While they present an idea with a camera built into the body crown, which is understandable for people who want to point and shoot, integrating the camera into the body of the already small tower is a bit of a hassle.

Other options include a removable camera that fits into the back panel, while another features a wide strap that forms an attachment for a camera module. While a smart watch-compatible camera sounds comfortable, the new technology is not without security risks. Due to the hidden nature of a smartwatch, it will not be difficult for anyone to keep in mind that they are recording it. Devices with built-in cameras, such as Ray-Ban Stories and smart glasses from Facebook, have also faced retirement for the same reason.

That being said, even a small gift camera can prove to be incredibly easy as more and more people acquire smartwatches. The feature will not only make photography easier, but will also support the capabilities of other programs such as Apple’s fall detection. Implemented camera can make the fall detection feature more accurate.

Despite the patent, Meta is already looking at making their own camera compatible with the Facebook Smart Watch, a leaked version of which shows the camera fits perfectly on display.
