IPhone control developed by Bobcat

With optional joystick controls (SJC) dating like 2004, the new Bobcat MaxControl remote control can be used on any Bobcat load. With the iPad and iPhone, Bobcat compact uploads can now be remotely controlled.

MaxControl is a new application, combined with an iOS application, with touch controls designed for smartphones, so remote control using the system is as understandable as using a phone application.

The system allows one operator to perform two tasks at once, using the remote control to operate the second machine from the first vehicle – for example, an engineer can sit in the excavator and use the remote load for full-back.

The MaxControl system uses a wi-fi signal to communicate with an iOS device and operate at a distance of up to 100 meters. action.

One of the first clients to try the program was Eduard Heredia, manager with contractor of the Spanish company Obras y Construcciones Corbera.

He said: “In a few hours I have been able to understand the function of uploading through my own iPhone – of course I will highlight the security areas. The MaxControl system is very useful and versatile as I can use it with a bucket or with many Bobcat attachments to perform various tasks safely such as jumping or using a wheelbarrow. In fact, I only have a Bobcat tracker at the moment, but in the future I can buy a skid-steer model and I will be able to work with MaxControl with both devices. ”
