In the UK iOS app store card game chart, Legends of Runeterra defeated Hearthstone

In the UK iOS charts, League of Legends card game Legends of Runeterra (LoR) is currently more popular than rival card game Hearthstone. Legends of Runeterra is currently 88th and Hearthstone is 92nd, the top free card game in the UK, at the time of writing. In the legends of the Runeterra subreddit, the change was referenced by Reddit user Purpleworrior.

They said: “For the first time today I have noticed that LoR has beaten Hearthstone in the iOS UK app store charts. In a card game, Hearthstone yesterday was 73 and LoR was 74. Today LoR is 73 and Hearthstone is 96. I think this has something to do with the success of Arcane. ”

On the Google Play Android application list in the UK, however, Hearthstone currently ranks two places above the Runeterra legends, near the bottom of the list of card applications.

Hearthstone is Blizzard Entertainment’s long-running digital card game – first launched in March 2014 – which is based on its efficient World of Warcraft franchise. Blizzard is owned by Activision Blizzard, which has been embroiled in a number of scams and controversies this year.

Elsewhere, looking at other Riot Games app store titles, the League of Wild Rift mobile game legends is currently 28th and the TFT warrior auto is 73rd in the gaming console, with Clash Royale sitting at No.1.

Apple and Google have not yet said how they calculate search rankings, however they believe the app stores track many metrics including review rates, number of downloads and submissions, usage statistics and more.

Riot Games and League of Legends has enjoyed renewal in recent months, with a string of announcements and developments.

Arcane, the League of Legends animated series, launched on Netflix earlier this month, bringing the League of Legends to new audiences, and Riot is pushing a major sale for the series, with LoL Jinx co-stars at Fortnite, the Arcane store in and around London. world, and more.

Riot also launches the latest blockbuster title RPG: League of Legends on PS4, PS5, Xbox One / Series X / S, Switch and PC, and releases new titles of Song of Nun and Convergence, and provides an update on its ‘Proro L’ League of Legends fighting game. He is also working on the League of Legends MMO.

Legends of Runeterra launches on PC and mobile devices back in April 2020. LoR designer Steve Rubin was first interviewed about the title back in October 2019.
