Ring Shattered aims to solve one of the most popular objections of FromSoftware’s latest action RPG: the lack of a task tracker. This is an optional design rather than a mistake, and some gamers have expressed a preference for exploring the game world without the fear of constantly growing list of tasks.
However, there are a number of gamers who would like to have the kind of quest detector found in most of the other open-world games, and who can find this new tool useful. Shattered Ring is a special data application, which allows users to enter NPC names manually as they encounter them in the game.
They can also enter where they met, add notes on any questions they give out, and change whether they are entrepreneurs. While the application is designed with Elden Ring in mind, it can be used technically for any RPG that offers side quests but does not have an in-game quiz tracker.
