LeEco had its last show on GSMArena in early 2017, when the business returned to promote some TWS wireless headsets. After experiencing financial difficulties a few years ago, the business did not launch any smartphones under the names LeEco or Lev. With the Lev Y1 Pro, that almost changed. This application is not surprising at all, but it may announce the arrival of a new smartphone competitor.
The Lev Y1 Pro looks very pretty like the iPhone 13, in terms of design, with a very low price point. Launched at CNY 499 (roughly $ 75), the Y1 Pro is powered by a small Unisoc T310. It has 1 ARM Cortex-A75 core clocked at 2GHz and 3x ARM Cortex-A55 clocked at 1.8GHz and this SoC only supports 4G networks. It is paired with 4GB of RAM and approximately 256GB of internal storage and dedicated microSD card slot.
Letv launches Y1 Pro entry level in China with Unisoc T310 and 4GB of 6.54-inch LCD RAM here with HD + resolution of 720 x 1560 px. The device weighs around 208g and measures 164.3 x 77.7 x 9.5mm. There is no fingerprint scanner on board, but the open source is supported by Android 11. It has a 5MP front-facing camera and on the main dual 8MP a wide-angle sensor with a AI Monitor lens – presumably deep sensor. The 4,000 mAh battery is powered by USB-C.
The Y1 Pro is available in Star White, Midnight Black, and Star Blue models. While the entry level 4GB + 32GB model starts at CNY 499 (~ $ 75), the 4GB + 128GB variant works for CNY 699 and the 4GB + 256GB version will run CNY 899. That is about $ 108 and $ 135, respectively. Y1 Pro is only available in Kannada market, but we will be careful to see if the brand will start moving to other markets.
