HP’s CES offering isn’t just about convertibles for socially distant high-end business users. One of the best consumer laptops around is also getting an upgrade in the form of the HP Envy 14 2021, and it looks set to compete with Apple’s MacBook Pro line.
Described by the company as a “mobile personal creative studio,” the HP Envy 14 features a 16:10 1,920 x 1,200 IPS touchscreen to increase the viewing area over more conventional 16: 9 displays. Pushing its creative credentials, HP claims that the display features color calibration with a Delta E of 2 for “out of the box color accuracy”, but this can be further customized by the integrated HP Display Control software.
