My teenage son listens to his new iPhone 12 and AirPods at full volume most of the waking hours of the day, except when he’s at school.
I have to find a way to limit the maximum volume he can listen to his music and YouTube.
When I was a kid with the original iPod, iPod mini and iPod Nano I too listened to music at full volume and now as a kid in my 40s, I’m sorry I did considering I don’t have a good heard now. I don’t need a hearing aid, but I often have to ask people to speak or repeat their question.
I’m wondering how I can set the maximum volume for their AirPods. Not necessarily the iPhone itself as I understand that sometimes he may want the maximum volume to come out of his iPhone 12 when playing a movie for example at an airport terminal or crowded coffee shop. But limiting them on its AirPods is a must.
I don’t care if it has to be done via family sharing (which we activated) or directly on his iPhone 12 itself, but it is imperative that he does not change the setting at night when left to his devices.
