Hi, I have a TB3 treeblet container with 1tb SSD and a Mac mini M1 256gb. As suggested in this forum, I moved the home folder to the SSD and the Mac won’t stop; the monitor stops properly but the Mac stays on (I can ping it) and both the mac and the SSD are hot In the energy settings I have also unchecked the network access I think the Mac cannot stop because of the home folder on SSD, why handsoff or any other service has to access the home folder of the SSD and the SSD keeps the Mac powered on… what do you think? How can I stop the Mac? Maybe hibernate?
- According to this source Home folder on TB3 SSD, Mac does not sleep
