Hodinkee, a popular mechanical showroom, is now an Apple Authorized Reseller.
“We are delighted to be an authorized reseller for Apple,” said Russell Kelly, chief commercial officer of Hodinkee. “This is a revolutionary product, an impressive example of design and functionality that fits perfectly into everyday life. Not only does Apple complement our product offering, but it also positions the Hodinkee store as a new luxury leader in the e-commerce.”
The Hodinkee store will offer the latest version of Apple, the 5 series, as well as a variety of Apple accessories. Currently, Hodinkee lists the 5 series in stainless steel or aluminum. All models listed are GPS + Cellular, in all available colors. For suspenders, they wear a Milanese buckle, a Sport band or a Sport buckle.

Hodinkee started as a blog, covering traditional watches in 2008. In 2012, they opened an online store to sell themed bracelets and accessories like handkerchiefs with Tudor-style snowflake hands.
In 2014, Hodinkee covered the original Apple, examining it positively. Traditional bloggers often clash with Apple, viewing it as an electronic gadget and not a real one.
Hodinkee’s editorial position is that Apple is still one, and can be worn alongside a traditional one.
The company focuses on the traditional mechanical world. However, they review Apple every year, have held podcast interviews with Apple executives, and published a cover in Hodinkee Magazine, Volume 2, introducing Apple design chief Sir Jonathan Ive, and exploring the countless developments of Apple.
For the past few years, Hodinkee has partnered with brands like S, Seiko, Timex and Zenith to make limited editions with their own unique design choices. It is not yet clear if this is something in mind at the moment, but a future partnership not different from the Apple Hermes partnership seems likely.
