Google finally updates the Gmail app for iOS after three months

Google finally released an update for its Gmail app for iOS on Monday. As you may recall, many of Google’s iOS apps have not been updated for iOS and this is thought to have been done on purpose to avoid having to add app privacy labels to its apps. Starting December 8, any updated app in the App Store must include its app privacy label. Located near the end of each app’s App Store listing, the app’s privacy label shows the data an app can collect, including data that can be linked to a user’s identity.
