Genshin Impact will receive controller support on iOS

No mention of Android until now.

One of last year’s hit games was Genshin Impact. The title is a free-to-play game that began on mobile devices and then made its way to PlayStation consoles. It was a phenomenon that generated a lot of revenue for the mobile version alone. Now, the iOS version is getting something that many people clamored for.

If you didn’t know, Genshin Impact is an action title and the mobile version didn’t have official controller support. This will change in the latest update, 1.3, according to the developer’s latest FAQ. For those with iOS 14 and above, you’ll be able to use Xbox Wireless Controllers, Xbox Elite Series 2 Wireless Controllers, PlayStation DualShock 4 Wireless Controllers, or MFi Bluetooth Controllers. As of now, it looks like this will only be for iOS owners and there is no mention of Android, but generally one follows the other, so it should arrive relatively soon.

Genshin Impact is now available on PC, PlayStation 4 and all compatible iOS and Android mobile devices. Version 1.3 is expected to be released on February 3rd.
