Floyd Mayweather blew up racism in boxing as the former pound-for-pound king aired his views on Manny Pacquiao versus Conor McGregor.
The 43-year-old, who is expected to fight in a special show later this year, is not happy with the current state of the sport.
Outlining his disgust at the ongoing situation in boxing, Mayweather let slip McGregor, those he disliked despite his obvious skills and Pacquiao.
Mayweather was responding to the transmitted thoughts about the love and hate that he and McGregor receive to an extreme degree.
“I saw this post. My opinion is that the world knows that McLoser scammer can steal everything from me and be loved. But I am hated,” Mayweather said, according to reporter Elie Seckbach who says he saw the post in the answer section on Instagram.
“This lets all of you know that racism still exists.
“You know, that bum will never be me or be on my level. I’m built differently. My mindset is on another planet and my skills are second to none. “
He continued: “I am a natural born winner. And yes, I talk a lot about garbage, but every time I support it. This is what they hate.
“It’s sad that you can be a poor black ghetto boy who has faced racism all his life and who works hard to put yourself and your family in a better position. But most of the hatred comes from your own people. “
FLOYD MAYWEATHER on PAC vs. MAC
McGregor and Pacquiao reportedly fought before the Irishman lost to Dustin Poirier, Mayweather added: “Conor can’t even win in his sport. But he’s talking about returning to boxing to fight Pacquiao.
“Nobody wants to see him. It’s like my leftovers eat leftovers, “he added.
As WBN reported yesterday, Mayweather is facing her decision on whether to delay her return.
There has been a noticeable lack of promotion for the Fanmio event. This fact leads many to believe that the exhibition will be delayed.
As for Pacquiao, the door remains firmly open for Mayweather and the Filipino senator to meet again in a show across the board.
However, Pacquiao will have to look away from McGregor for the foreseeable future. It comes after Poirier wiped out “The Notorious” in just two rounds.
