Find virtually any file in OS X

The Spotlight feature in OS X is a convenient tool for locating files, contacts, e-mails and other informationon by searching an index of file contents and metadata as well as file names. While the primary use of this feature is to locate user data and resources you may be using, such as applications and system preferences, it can also be used to find virtually any file on the system.
