Hi, I have a Mac Mini from late 2009 that I would like to connect to one of the HDMI inputs on a new Samsung 4K TV. The Mini supports up to 1920 × 1200 alone, but I also have the Mini DisplayPort to Dual-Link DVI adapter which allows it to support 2560x 1600. It also has a mini DVI port.
My question is which adapter should I get to get the best results?
Mini DVI to HDMIMini DisplayPort to HDMIOr a Dual Link DVI to HDMI and use with Mini DisplayPort to Dual-Link DVI adapter
I am aware that none of these will do audio. I know Mini DisplayPort to HDMI will work, but I’m wondering if using the Dual link adapter can achieve higher resolution?
