Cases come with Apple Music and the iOS App Store

If you are an Apple customer, you may have noticed some issues with the App Store or Apple Music. Apple’s status page on Monday mentioned errors affecting “all users” for both services from 11:41 am ET, but did not go into depth about the issues. Both the App Store and Apple Music were basically working in our tests, however customers reported cases for several hours until they were addressed. Apple Privacy icons do not appear on most App Store icons, according to 9to5Mac, which points to a source confirming it is a glitch that will be resolved soon.

Posts on Reddit have found problems with Apple Music losing lyric information, Dolby Atmos, and audio from songs where it should have those features, while some of their traffic is not able to play music even though you subscribe to their local repository for offline listening. Some users say logging in and logging out fixed audio features for them but not missing tracks. We are able to confirm the statement with the tracks as shown below.

Now Apple’s status page has been updated, marking problems with both services as a resolution. The timeline of the case is marked as 4:15 AM – 12:02 PM, which can be aligned with what users experience if set for Pacific Time. In the end, the music features are working and the icons are back in the world, and hopefully your recorded songs will be played again.
