Australia’s CPC Patent Technologies Says Apple’s iPhone Using Face or Touch ID Violates Three of Their Acquired Patents

Australian company CPC Patent Technologies Pty Ltd. is suing Apple for patent infringement. The company claims iPhones and iPads equipped with Face or Touch ID infringe three of their patents.

All three patents were “acquired” by Securicom for the purpose of suing Apple, which makes CPC Patent Technologies a Patent Troll or an unprofessional entity or non-manufacturing entity (NPE).
