Apple TV+ kids' shows nominated for 17 Daytime Emmy awards

Apple TV + has received 17 Daytime Emmy Awards nominations in four different programs this year – “Ghostwriter”, “Helpsters”, “Peanuts in Space: Secrets of Apollo 10” and “Snoopy in Space”.

Daytime programming had to broaden its definition, now that only streaming services like Apple TV +, Hulu, Netflix and Facebook have entered the mix. In general, daytime programming is any program intended for all audiences and intended for families that could be broadcast before “prime time” programs, which tend to be more intended for adults.

Unsurprisingly, Apple’s commitment to bringing high-quality children’s programming to Apple TV + has helped them accumulate nominations – 17 nominations in total – for their child-friendly programming.

The 47th Daytime Emmy Awards will be broadcast on CBS on June 26 and filmed remotely to comply with COVID-19 restrictions. Below is a list of all the Daytime Emmy Awards for which each show is nominated.
