Apple temporarily closes its stores in Texas

Apple is closing stores again due to COVID-19.

Local Dallas stores at NorthPark Center, Galleria Dallas, University Park Village in Fort Worth and the Southlake Town Square area are already closed.

Apple’s website says “we are temporarily closed” and directs customers to shop online for “contactless delivery”.

Local Apple stores were the first to close in the state.

Apple stores in Austin, San Antonio and Houston say they will “close temporarily,” but they honor visits to the Genius Bar until Monday, January 18, according to the Apple website.

“Due to the current conditions of COVID-19 in some of the communities we serve, we are temporarily closing stores in Texas,” Apple said in an email. “We take this step very carefully as we closely monitor the situation and look forward to getting our teams and customers back as soon as possible.”
