Apple reveals new Find My feature in iOS 14 ahead of the long-rumored AirTags

Apple just accidentally revealed a new hidden “Find My” tab called “Items”, which can be accessed in iOS 14.3 via Safari, ahead of a long-rumored new AirTags product.

From MacRumors:

MacRumors reader David Chu warned us today that the “Items” tab hidden in the Find My app can be enabled on iOS 14.3 and later by typing the link findmy: // items in Safari and tapping “Open” in the prompt that appears.

As MR notes, screenshots of this feature were first seen in 2019, however, it now appears that users can access the page unofficially via Safari.

Today on Twitter Miguel de Icaza noticed something similar:

I just got a notification for “item has been found” on iOS and when I touched it it helped me to “find my …” and this new page
