Apple M1 MacBook Air, MacBook Pro and Mac Mini have a fast user switching bug

It appears that some Mac users of Apple M1 are facing issues with the fast user switching bug. The bug is said to activate the screensaver, not allowing the user to close it. In case you aren’t aware, in macOS Big Sur, the Fast User Switching feature lets you quickly move between user accounts, without spending extra seconds to log out completely. However, based on some posts posted by users on Macrumors forums, Apple’s community forum, and Reddit, it appears that the screensaver can sometimes take up the entire screen of M1-based MacBook devices, leaving the workspace. completely unavailable.

Some have even pointed out that the screensaver appears on the screen along with the moving mouse pointer, but even that doesn’t work.

Macrumours forum member called dawideksl showed the problem in a video below.
