Apple iPhone customers are facing a new security threat, which is linked to malware spread by criminals through iOS apps. As a recent security assessment, fraudsters are using Apple’s TestFlight application to catch malware-infected iOS applications that even Apple is unaware of. According to Sophos security assessment, the problem is present on both Android and iOS. However, Apple’s concerns are more serious because these malicious programs have been introduced to the Apple App Store via the TestFlight device.

And it looks like the attacks have seen loophole gaping in Apple’s App Store policies, where pre-release applications are not reviewed, which means malware is easily accessed into any iOS device using the TestFlight application .

Apple does not want to make changes to the way the TestFlight process works, which could be frustrating for developers. Therefore, the company requires its users to be careful while downloading applications or software from unknown sources, and that includes any link sent by TestFlight.
