Apple has no plans to introduce a larger iMac screen at this time

Apple is retired with a smart 27-inch iMac, which is also a product with Intel CPU, with the release of the new Mac Studio and Display Studio. While Apple speculates that the 27-inch iMac is no longer available, rumors suggest that Apple is working on a “new iMac Pro,” however this may not be the case anymore. According to 9to5Mac sources, Apple has no plans to offer a larger iMac screen anytime soon. The information came from the same individuals who told us about Mac Studio and Studio Studio ideas ahead of time.

As previously reported, Apple is working on the next generation of Macs with the new M2 chip, which includes the new MacBook Air, MacBook Pro, and Mac mini. However, when it comes to the iMac, the current company has no plans to release new high-end versions of the all-in-one desktop for now.

This is not just a large screen model, but features with Pro, Max, or Ultra chips. Based on information obtained by 9to5Mac, Apple is working on a new 24-inch iMac that is expected to launch shortly in 2023, but similar to the MacBook Air and 13-inch MacBook Pro, it is not possible to implement the same specifications higher than Apple.

So, keep in mind that Apple ideas may change, and that does not mean that the company does not plan to introduce different versions of the existing iMac. But for now, our sources suggest that Apple is focusing on the upcoming Mac Studio and Apple Silicon Mac Pro coming to its professional users.

Last month, a Bloomberg report revealed that Apple may unveil the new Apple Silicon Macs in May at WWDC 2022, with more Mac to be available by the end of the year.
