Android 12 could copy the iOS hibernation feature

What makes smartphones “smart” is their ability to manage apps, which we all have on our devices to do something or the other. However, on Android, there are many apps that we don’t use that often or that we may have downloaded for a particular situation and never launch the app again. However, these apps that we don’t use often take up significant space on our smartphones.

It looks like Android is finally catching up with iOS in this area. A new report from XDA developers who have been notified of new changes to the AOSP. The changes suggest that Google is working on a “hibernation” system, similar to what iOS uses for its iPhones. The new hibernation system will free up space on smartphones from apps you don’t use often.
